Bake Day. Last Wednesday I made a triple batch of dough with the idea of baking bread and saving enough dough to make a pizza on Saturday. The bread got baked Wednesday but the pizza never happened so............ I kneaded up another batch of dough Sunday morning and added the saved dough to the mix. The dough came out of the fridge early this morning and was left on the counter to come to room temperature. While the dough was warming up I roasted a few heads of garlic. I ended up with three plain baguettes and two that were stuffed with roasted garlic and cheddar.
Moe and I shared the smaller of the two loaves for lunch. Still warm and dripping with butter. OMG, this bread is so good, even if I do say so myself.
Oh, Ann - it makes my mouth water!! I've never made a baguette with cheese and roasted garlic. I'll have to try that!
