Quiche

Tomato - Broccoli - Cheddar ................
I don't make Quiche often and when I do I don't follow a recipe. I use what I have on hand. Today's quiche was based on tomatoes, chives and fresh basil from our garden, broccoli, and green onions from the Duncan Farmers Market, Canadian 3 year old white cheddar, mozzarella, five farm fresh eggs, 18% cream, salt and pepper. I used my standard pastry crust recipe, using all butter and I blind baked it for about 10 minutes before adding the filling.

  5. I haven't made quiche in a while and now I want some! I'll have to wait a bit for the weather to cool down to use my oven, but when I do, I think quiche is on order!
