Moe loves oatmeal porridge. I haven't made it for him since the weather turned warm. It was cool this morning so I put a pot of porridge on the back burner, and slow cooked it for his breakfast. He likes it creamy so I start it in cold water, with a pinch of salt, on very low heat. It needs to be stirred every five minutes or so and takes about 35 to 45 minutes to cook. Moe likes his topped with a little butter and brown sugar and milk. I tossed in a few blackberries.
I hate porridge , so I had oatmeal cookies. The kind with white chocolate in them. Warm out of the oven with a cup of coffee. What could be better.
We were both happy. Especially Moe since he also got to eat the cookies.
