Started my four day work schedule yesterday. Decided on something simple for dinner, because I also wanted to bake bagels last night. I still had some of the perogies I made a few weeks back, in the freezer so they became dinner. Fried up some side pork and onions to go with them. I posted the
recipe back in April.
Jacques and I LOVE pierogies.. I bet yours are just wonderful Ann.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great looking quick meal. I don't think I've ever eaten a pierogie, but I know I want to. They look like something we'd certainly enjoy. This is on my someday list!
ReplyDeleteNothing beats homemade pierogies, they're one of my favourites!
ReplyDeleteDid you freeze them raw or cooked? How did the filling taste after defrosting? Love the idea
ReplyDeletetttri, the perogies are frozen uncooked. They freeze beautifully with no deterioration in flavour or texture.
ReplyDeleteFreeze the perogies on a cookie sheet and when frozen, store in a freezer container or freezer bag.
