Baked bread recently so I could try out my beautiful new bread knife handcrafted
by David Coull - ITG Knives.
I love David's knives and have two that I use almost exclusively on a daily basis.
This is his first bread knife and he offered it to me to test it for him.
The knife passed with flying colours. Cut through the crust like butter.
Perfectly balanced. Beautiful handle.
The size of this knife with an 8" blade makes it perfect for smaller loaves and baguettes.
David's knives are not just functional but are beautiful.
He uses a variety of different woods for his handles.
All of my knives have the same figured maple as our Table Art Boards.
If you are interested in a custom made knife, check out David's
ITG Knives Facebook page or his website:
What is your blade made of?
ReplyDeleteHi Charles, David uses 440C- its high carbon stainless, for his blades.
