Antipasto

One night recently I had nothing planned for dinner.

So stopped on the way home from work and bought what I needed to make an antipasto platter.

I roasted red peppers and grilled zucchini slices. Plated them with a caprese salad.

Wrapped melon in prosciutto and drizzled with olive oil and black pepper.

Thinly sliced a parmesan coated salami.

Added cheese,

olives and my home-made bread to one of our serving boards and dinner was served.

  2. I sure hope there was a fabulous glass of wine serevd up with your antipasto. My husband and I do this on Friday nights…We consider it our end of the week chill evening.
Thanks for sharing and reminding me how great a good antipasto platter can be-

  3. My kind of dinner! Very fortunate that my family is in the cheese business, and that my son owns an Italian Deli - so we do this often. Looks beautiful! The salami encrusted with parm looks amazing - will have to ask my son about that. Ours usually includes his homemade hot olives, homemade mozzarella braids and dried Italian sausage in oil.

    1. Debbie, lucky you be in the business and to have a son with an Italian Deli. What is the name of your Cheese business? Do you have a web page or a Facebook page?
