Peri Peri Grilled Chicken

Grilled Chicken Legs
Peri Peri Style

I've been grilling chicken legs recently.
Very versatile

We have had

Jerk

 Asian

 And now Peri Peri

The legs were marinated for about four hours.
Overnight would have been even better.

The Marinade was five garlic cloves, the juice of one large lemon,
olive oil, salt, pepper  and a little of the Peri Peri sauce for "heat".

The Peri Peri Sauce is very simple:
pulse 6 to 10 small fresh red chilies ( I used Thai) , with 2 large cloves of garlic,
juice of 1/2 a large lemon,  olive oil
 and salt and pepper.

Grill chicken over low to medium heat (depending on your grill).
Turn occasionally until chicken is cooked.
Brush with a little of the Peri Peri sauce during the last couple of minutes on the grill.

Served with Turmeric rice and extra Peri Peri sauce.
