Weekly Bread Post
I was totally out of homemade bread. So, I decided to get a little ahead of the game this week. Monday, I kneaded up a double batch, baked four baguettes and refrigerated the other half to use later this week. I'll probably bake a pizza and a couple of more loaves between now and the weekend.
On Tuesday, I made another double batch and baked 8 loaves, rather than baguettes. Gave one away to a new neighbour and the rest went into the freezer.

I now bake my own bread too. When they turn out this good, it's hard paying for them from outside.

ReplyDeleteHey Ann- Great looking bread- I've got 4 baguettes in the oven right now and then I'm making a rustic loaf for one of my co-workers- Great minds think alike! Happy Baking!
ReplyDeleteYou are the only one in the world that bakes bread like this.
ReplyDeleteThese are absolutely beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI recently learned to make my own rustic loaf at home. I had never had any success at bread baking. Ever since a guy shared his source (NYT no knead bread recipe), I'll bake my own. Your loafs look fabulous!
ReplyDeleteWill you share this recipe?
