Still breaking in my new oven. This morning I baked scones. Gave Moe a choice of either Blueberry or Raspberry. So Blueberry it was. I used the last of the 5 pound box of local blueberries I bought earlier in the week.
Ready to go into the oven.
My
favourite scone recipe can be found on my recipe Blog
What a fabulous crumb your scones have. I don't believe I have ever seen any that are more beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI have to try these, unfortunately the one and only scone recipe I tried didn't turn out very well. The recipe called for 3 tbls of baking powder, needless to say all I tasted was baking powder. I will have to try your recipe, these are magnificent!
ReplyDeleteOur whole family loves scones..Your photos are edible!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful collection of photos (again!) :)
ReplyDeleteI could sure go for one of those gorgeous scones right now with my mid-morning coffee. Yum!
