Biscuits for Breakfast

Biscuits again this morning. I used my regular biscuit recipe, this time with cream rather that buttermilk. I was out of cheddar so I made Black Pepper, Chive and Gorgonzola biscuits - easy on the Gorgonzola. If you like blue cheese you will like these. Probably better suited as a dinner biscuits but Moe had his with his morning coffee and I didn't hear any complaints. In fact he ate three of them.

  1. Your biscuits always look perfect, Ann. I need to work on my biscuit-making technique - mine never come out that fluffy! I'll follow your recipe and see if I can come close!

  3. I tried a new product (to me) product that promised to make the biscuits rise sky high. They DID, but they tasted terrible LOL!!! I'm going to go and look at your recipe. My biscuits are shameful. They should be called hockey pucks and door knobs.

  5. Lori, there isn't anything that you can't make. I know that you make wonderful scones. Technique is the same.

    Thanks Cathy and Katy.

Thank you Iris, that is very sweet of you. I'm honored.

  6. I am trying not to eat carbs after 3pm and this is not helping my willpower. They sound and look delicious.

  7. These look amazing...I love biscuits, but have only flavored them with herbs. I'll have to try your dangerously delicious looking biscuits!
