Monday night's dinner. Another request from Moe - Steak and Fries. Grilled a small Prime Rib and served it with shoestring fries. Hand cut russet potatoes.
Sorry Sandra, I don't really have a recipe for grilled Steak. Just rub the steak with garlic, salt and pepper and grill to desired doneness. We like ours on the rare side so it doesn't take long. And as for the Shoestring Potatoes, those are just russet potatoes cut into "shoestring" size fries and deep fried.
If you have time presalt the steak a day or two in advance and the let it air dry in the fridge the day that you are going to cook it.
You can also cut the potatoes early in the day and soak in ice water. Dry well before frying.
No way am I letting my Sweetie-Pi see the pictures of your prime rib. He'd be drooling with envy! Well done! Looks FAB.
ReplyDeleteI love home-cut fries!
ReplyDeleteAs always your food is just cooked to perfection..anxious to see the Kings:)
ReplyDeleteI'm confused...if recipes are meant to be shared where is the recipe?
