Goldie from Confessions of a Serial Baker was kind enough to nominate me for the "Sweet Lemonade Award". How nice is that? I've never been nominated for an award before.
Here are the rules for sending it along and sharing the love:
1. Put the logo on your blog post.
2. Nominate at least 5 blogs that show great attitude and/or gratitude.
3. Be sure to put a link to your nominees.
4. Let them know they have received this award by commenting on their blog.
5. Share the love and link to this post and to the person from whom you've received the award.
So, in keeping with the spirit of the award I would like to nominate five wonderful women that definitely have great attitudes and that I am very grateful to know. All five of my nominees are multi-talented women, amazing cooks and they all take spectacular photos. Anyone that hasn't visited these websites is in for a real treat.
Lori (All that Splatters) , I've known for over 7 years from the Cooking Forum on the garden web. Although we have never met in person, I consider her a good friend. She works full time, often gets home very late and still makes the most amazing meals for herself.
Monique (La Table De Nana) is beautiful inside and out and her blog, as my husband says, is like visiting a lovely fairy tale. So beautiful and whimsical.
Jain (Once in a Blue Moon) lives in paradise. She has the most amazing gardens and she does almost all of the work herself. And in her spare time she prepares wonderful meals and her dishes and her table settings are to die for.
Mary (Once upon a Plate) I don't know anyone with as many dishes as Mary. And the photos that she takes of her meals are at a level that I can only aspire to.
Linda (How to Cook a Wolf) is a new Internet friend and was very kind and welcoming when I joined another cooking forum that she belongs to. What I love about Linda's blog is that she cooks very much like me. Everything that she makes is something that I would be happy to eat.
