Buttermilk Biscuits meets Yeast

I think that these are commonly referred to as Angel Biscuits. I made them using my regular biscuit recipe but added two teaspoons of yeast and reduced the baking powder by one teaspoon. They were deliciously light, flaky biscuits, but only marginally more so than the regular version.

I made Moe a breakfast sandwich using peameal bacon and fried eggs. Better than McDonald's. NOTE: Peameal bacon is a Canadian thing. Mostly found in Ontario. Similar to Canadian back bacon, but rather than a pork loin being smoked, the loin is brined/cured and then rolled in corn meal.
